Flush

Flush doors are simple door designs that have plain facings on both sides and are often kept deliberately simple in appearance to highlight other features nearby, or so as not to be intrusive.

Portman 44mm thick flush doors have a solid graduated density chipboard core @ approx 28kg m2, and have a solid timber perimeter affixed on all four edges to better aid morticing and/or fitting of hardware.

Doors can be supplied primed ready for site painting or pre painted. Should the door have a timber veneer applied then the direction of the grain for the veneer can be either horizontal, as is usually the case with sliding doors or vertical to match other doors in the vacinity.

These doors have a flush (flat) surface without any decorative features, hence their name.
